An interactive, tabbed explainer of how Animica turns real compute into useful work — across AI compute, mining, providers, and apps — and where the ANM token fits. Honest by design: paid actions are marked coming soon.

Compute that runs models, not just hashes

The core idea of useful work is simple: the network needs computation done anyway — running and fine-tuning AI models, generating responses, embedding text for search — so that computation itself becomes the work the network rewards.

A user submits a job, such as a chat completion, an embedding, or a training step.

The job is dispatched to real hardware and executed, producing an output that can be checked.

Verified work is what the network accounts for — the electricity powers a useful result, not a disposable puzzle.

Mining

Securing the chain by doing real work

Traditional mining spends energy solving arbitrary puzzles. Animica points that same effort at computation the network actually needs, so the act of contributing hardware helps secure the chain and produces something useful.

Miners run useful-work jobs and submit results the network can verify.

Accepted work contributes to block production and the ongoing health of the chain.

Providers

Bring hardware, complete jobs

Providers are people and teams who connect GPUs (and other compute) to the network. When jobs arrive, provider hardware executes them — turning idle capacity into completed, verifiable useful work.

Register hardware and make it available for incoming jobs.

Complete jobs reliably; verified results are what the network credits.

More honest capacity means more jobs can run and more apps can be powered.

Provider settlement and payouts are prepared for the next phase (coming soon). Any earnings figures shown elsewhere are estimates only — results depend on job supply, hardware, and network conditions, none of which are guaranteed.

What the useful work is for

All of that compute exists to power things people actually use. On Animica you type a prompt and get a working mini app, game, bot, or AI tool — and the AI features inside those apps can lean on the same useful-work compute.

Where the ANM token fits

ANM is the unit the network is designed to account for useful work in. The intent is that requesting compute spends ANM and contributing verified work earns it — connecting the people who need jobs done with the people who run them.

Planned demand: paying for AI jobs, boosting apps, tipping builders, and deploying contracts.
